This paper explores the significance of cultural context on the role of family and caregiver for persons with dementia. Three findings are reported. First, Chinese family caregivers' attitudes toward caregiving were very negative. Second, family members' participation in the caregiving process were inhibited by caregivers' negative attitudes. Third, cultural context, the low level of acceptance of mental illness, and traditional beliefs affected the resources available for caregivers. Implications are suggested to improve the effectiveness of family caregiving in the Chinese cultural context.Q:
What is this: "With the information security folks, I'm talking about the US government and the same crowd."?
There's this line in Clint Eastwood's movie American Sniper, which I have paraphrased for my own question. The full sentence is:
"With the information security folks, I'm talking about the US government and the same crowd that refuses to implement the CCPA in the UK. When the government says they want you to give up your data, they won't even ask for proof that you have data to give them. They'll tell you to shut down. And then, if you shut down, they can come back and say, 'Here are the vulnerabilities you used, so you're going to be fined.'"
I understand the first part. But I don't understand the second part. What does "the same crowd that refuses to implement the CCPA in the UK" mean?
A:
TL;DR: The line is ambiguous and could mean:
The group of people he is talking about is the same group that is responsible for the CCPA in the UK and in the US.
The group of people he is talking about is the same group that is responsible for implementing the CCPA in the UK.
A long version:
The CCPA, or the UK's (Cyber-)Crime and Criminal Justice Act 2014, is very similar to the US's FBI Security Directive 193. The CCPA was adopted in be359ba680
